Start-Up Visits

Program Description

Site tours provide students the opportunity to tour and experience a “day in the life of” local biomedical start-ups and companies. Students and young professionals will interact with experienced individuals in non-traditional careers. Ultimately, these interactions will facilitate networking opportunities for employers to engage with local talent.

Leadership

Christian Cervantes

Christian is a PhD student at UT Health San Antonio, investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms of anti-viral antibody responses using Vaccinia virus (VACV) and the novel SARS-CoV-2 virus. He obtained his B.S in Biology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. As member of Enventure, he is currently developing and implementing the Start-Up Visits Program to connect students and young professionals with biomedical starts-ups and companies around San Antonio.
