Arielle Baker, Ph.D.

After graduating from Dartmouth College with a PhD in Neuroscience, Dr. Baker have been working on science policy as a Program Officer at The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. Dr. Baker are also the Assistant Director of the Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education. Dr. Baker's work is focused on advocating for and supporting women and marginalized groups in science related careers.

Event Description

We are holding our fourth seminar on October 22nd, with guest speaker Dr. Arielle Baker, a Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Science, Engineering and Medicine.

This particular event was organized in collaboration with WISDOM, an organization that supports women scientists through community outreach programs and peer-level resources for trainees. The goal of the seminar is to discuss the topics of gender equality and inclusion in the STEM fields with the help of Dr. Arielle Baker, an Associate Program Officer at The National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine.

Participants attending this event will learn about Dr. Baker's story and how we can all contribute to science and make the field more inclusive and equal. In addition, there will be a final Q&A where the audience will be able to ask direct questions.
